If you are an administrator or unit administrator, you can create accounts. You can import them with XLS, or enter them manually. Before you can import the XLS with user data, the administrator must create organizational units, to place users in these units, otherwise it will be difficult to find them.
All account types (Admin, Unit Admin, Faculty, Student, Dean's Office) have the ability to upload documents for review. To upload documents for review either the Admin must place a "check" on the user account in the form of a document or characters within which the user can upload documents, or upload a document as a student without placing a "check" on their account in the Assignment module. If the students are enrolled to an Assignment, they can upload a paper even if they have no checks on their account.
The similarity report is available to the users on their accounts (in some cases students may not have access to the system and thus receive the report if so decided by the administrator or instructor) in the Documents section. A similarity report is placed next to each document. The similarity report is available as an interactive web page as well as a PDF and HTML document which can be downloaded.
Processing documents and searching for similarities usually takes a few minutes. During a session, it may take a little longer than usual. Thus, we make every effort to ensure that the check is performed in a high-quality manner and with searches in all available resources.
To improve the quality of the work, its originality and reduce the level of similarity, it is not enough to change the order of words. For high-quality processing of the paper, the author must describe the text in his own words, since our SmartMarks module will find similarities even if words have been rearranged or replaced with synonyms.
We recommend to take a paraphrase seriously and do not forget to credit the author if the text fragment used is the subject of copyright, that is, it belongs to some author. The main purpose of the check is to prevent plagiarism, thereby credit the authors whose materials were used.
All documents verified and stored by our system in strict accordance with the GDPR. That is, they are stored on the account of the organization, which has committed itself to check the work for plagiarism in accordance with its procedures, processes and legislation. All documents and personal data are protected and anonymized. Our servers are located in the EU. All data is stored only for the duration of the plagiarism check and when the service is completed and the contract with the client has come to an end all data must be removed and erased.

You can find an option "Search for translation plagiarism" when uploading a document for verification at the user's account. You can use this feature to find similarities in text translated from other languages. More than 100 language combinations are available to the system.
To use this feature, please contact us and we will enable it for you. Please remember that the translated text is not the original text and the similarities imposed on it require a very careful analysis.
When analysing a Similarity Report you should remember that:
The Strikeplagiarism.com Similarity Report is only a tool for evaluation. The System mechanically detects similarities to other documents and provides with a result that should be analyzed by a competent person to ascertain whether citations have been properly marked and annotations made. The Similarity Coefficient alone cannot be considered a definite measure of copyright infringement. The Strikeplagiarism.com System does not analyse which document was created first. The document that was indexed and submitted to the System earlier is not treated as a source but can be considered as a similar fragment. Therefore, the Similarity Report cannot be considered when deciding which file is the original and which is the copy. The methods of similarity detection used by the System sometimes cause commonly used or standardised phrases with specialised terminology to be highlighted as alleged plagiarism.
Different colors mean different sources. More information about Similarity report you can find in the Manual.
